Nursery Graduation

From May the children had been working very hard practising for Graduation. They learnt six songs in total and all the actions to go along with them. On Thursday 16th June it was then time to perform for our family members. The children did brilliantly singing all the songs and we were so proud of them all. We had a party afterwards in the nursery with some sweets and crisps....

Sports Day KS2

On Tuesday 16th May, we returned to our annual sports day with parents attending as spectators. Individual races took place in the egg & spoon, sack race, obstacle and Sprint. Netball Team Achievements

This term saw our school netball team put all their training and practice to the test by taking part in some tournaments. On 11th May they hosted a small tournament with 3 other schools: Carnaghts, Carniny and The Diamond. They won all 3 games! Cumann na mBunscol Large School Football Blitz

On Wednesday 1st June, boys from P5,6&7 took part in the Cumann na mBunscol Large School Blitz in Ballymena, hosted by St. Brigid’s P.S. at Woodside Road.  The standard of play at this competition is always high and this year was no different. The nursery children took part in their very own fundraising event today, Friday 27th May. They completed a ‘Toddle Waddle’ around the school three times dressed up as ‘Superheroes and Princesses’. On Friday the 20th of May the whole school, from Nursery to Primary 7, took part in Feet First Friday as part of Sustrans activities to help us be active, healthy and happy. Nursery Trip to Rosepark Farm

The children had so much fun visiting RosePark Farm. We got to walk through the Enchanted Fairy Garden which then led us on to the farm where we saw lots of different  farm animals and even got to go to the maternity ward!
