Cumann na mBunscol Camogie Tournament

On 12th May, St. Mary's P.S. hosted the Cumann na mBunscol Camogie tournament for the first time since 2019. The whole day was organised by Claire Doherty, our school coach from Geraldine’s Camogie Club, and everything went so smoothly from start to finish. Mixed Football Blitz (Rasharkin) (P7)

On 4th May 2022, twenty of the Primary 7 children had the opportunity to take part in a Mixed Football Blitz, hosted by St. Patrick’s Primary School, Rasharkin. When we arrived we were sorted into several groups. Each group was named after counties in Ireland. Cumann na mBunscol Football Tournament girls (P7)

This year has seen the rise of Girls’ Gaelic football in St. Mary’s P.S. Many of our P7 girls stay behind after school on Mondays with Martin McLaughlin to practice their skills and play matches. This week, the pupils of Primary 3 made their First Confession. Cyber Syd

It was great to welcome back one of our past pupils, Aaron Ball, who has developed an app with his dad called CyberSyd.  CyberSyd is an app for young people to report bullying easily and confidentially from anywhere at any time. New ECO code competition

Farm Visit for Nursery

The nursery boys and girls were very lucky to get a special visit from Rosa’s mum Roisin and her granny Joan. They brought with them lots of amazing animals such as bunnies, puppies, chicks, lambs and much more. The children really enjoyed getting to pet the animals and some even fed and held them!
