Environmental Youth Speak

Congratulations to our Year 7 pupils Megan and Marie, who came 1st and 2nd in the Environmental Youth Speak Competition. Megan will be representing the school in the Final on Tuesday 10th March in Lisburn. Good luck Megan from everybody at St Mary's!...

World Book Day

We really value Reading at St Mary's so to celebrate World Book Day all pupils participated in a variety of lessons, activities and competitions. Book Fair Competition

Congratulations to all of our Travelling Book Fair Competition winners from Year 1 to Year 7. We loved finding out about your favourite books and where you love to read them. The amazing posters designed in Key Stage 2, to promote reading, has made us all Reading Bookworms! Enjoy spending your vouchers and using your cool pencil cases....

Big Bedtime Read

Thank you to all our Nursery, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils who took part in our Big Bedtime Read. Fairtrade

Our Year 6 pupils Michael, Hugo, Cormac and Charlie delivered a presentation on Fairtrade to all pupils at our first assembly of the term. Childline

Today the pupils of P6 and P7 attended a special assembly given by Childline. The assembly was all ablout the rights of all children to be safe and happy. Childline will also be back in the school next week to do some more work with the pupils in their own classrooms....

Camogie and Hurling

Our Year 6 and Year 7 pupils are having a fantastic time participating in the Partner Primary School Links Programme with PE teachers from St Louis Grammar School. The six week programme introduces them to and develops their skills in Camogie and Hurling as well as promoting team skills and physical exercise....
