St Mary's PTA Quiz 2025

Last night, St Mary’s PTA hosted another fantastic evening of fun, laughter, and friendly competition at our annual Quiz Night! Once again, the brilliant duo of Tony Convery and Michael McCann kept everyone entertained with their quick wit, tricky questions, and trademark humour. From testing our general knowledge to revisiting the school curriculum and identifying local landmarks, there was plenty to keep teams on their toes! 

The ever-popular music round from last years quiz was a crowd favourite once again, with Michael delighting everyone with his legendary vocals! A huge thank you to all members of our PTA who helped in any way to make the event such a success. From sourcing sponsors and prizes, marking answer sheets, decorating the room so well and everything in between! Special thanks goes to Kara McKenna, and Lorna O’Boyle, for coordinating everything so seamlessly once again. 

We are incredibly grateful to all the local businesses and families who generously sponsored quiz rounds and donated fabulous raffle prizes. 

The children of St Mary’s Primary School and Nursery  are very lucky to be surrounded by such enthusiasm and generosity both inside and outside of school. The funds raised from the quiz will go directly towards enriching the pupils’ learning experiences and providing valuable new resources.
