Road Safety Week

This year Road Safety week was from the 18^th-24^th of November. Here at St. Mary’s the entire school took part in activities to help us learn and understand how important it is to be safe on the roads.  

In Primary Five we designed a Road Safety Poster, we completed word searches, puzzles and other fun activities and we decided on a set of rules to help us stay safe on the road.

Our advice to other children would be…

- Always wear your seatbelt

- Never play on the road

- Stop, Look and Listen

- Never open the car door when someone is driving

- Never distract a driver

We learnt a lot and look forward to Road Safety week next year.
